Elevating website experience with modern developments and sleek design

Nottingham Lighting Centre came to Imaginaire to modernise and refresh their online ecommerce store. NLC pride themselves on having an extensive and high quality product range covering all aspects of decorative lighting.

Using a combination of CMS to maximise efficiency and functionality, we designed and developed a new website which highlights the companies luxury product range as well as customer experience on both desktop and mobile.

Our in house development team worked together and with the client to create a website which not only looked good, but also performs to a high quality.

Using Sanity for front end development, the website can and is easily accessed by the business or external contributors, allowing existing content to be edited and new copy to be added easily. Sanity offers the client maximum functionality when it comes to maintaining the website, as well as offering more intricate features and personalisation.

We then built the back-end of the website using Headless Shopify, a modern and user-friendly system which makes it super easy for the client to edit and add products as well as create new collections, brands and services. Using Shopify image optimisation along with Next image optimisation, this allowed us to maximise page speed and ensure customers can have a sleek online journey.

Whilst crafting the new website, we also ensured that all design aspects and functions were optimised fully for mobile. Any ecommerce store should be easily accessed via mobile, so we ensured that all blocks, content, imagery and text is adaptable to a range of screen sizes and digital devices.
