What is paid media?
Paid media covers a broad range of advertising where you pay for a result — usually either impressions or clicks. As a rule of thumb, it covers PPC (paid search and display ads), video advertising and paid social. We focus our efforts on Paid Search and Google Shopping.
What costs are involved with paid media?
Generally, you’ll have the amount you spend with the advertising platform (i.e. Google) (this is your budget), with a management fee on top of this.
Most agencies charge a percentage of ad spend, meaning the more you spend, the more they get paid. We don’t believe in this as it presents a conflict of interests — we’re incentivised for you spending more and more on your ads. Instead of this, we charge a day-rate based on the perceived complexity of your account and the amount of time we feel it needs on a monthly basis.
We work with paid media budgets of £2k/month and upwards, with our minimum management fee being £1k/month + VAT.
How does Imaginaire report on paid media progress?
You’ll receive an automated report outlining the key measurables of your campaign on a monthly basis, along with an email summary from your consultant to let you know what they’ve worked on and what they have planned for the following month.
As well as this, we hold a formal review meeting each quarter to cover our strategy and to make sure we’re all aligned on the campaign.
